QA Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Java-based test automation frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation test strategies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java-based frameworks.
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and RestAssured.
• Perform automated API and UI testing to ensure the stability of applications.
• Utilize tools like JMeter or Gatling to conduct performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or TestRail.
• Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to define testing requirements and ensure high-quality releases.
• Manage and generate test data for automation scripts.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in test automation using Java.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• Experience with API testing using RestAssured or Postman.
• Experience working with version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with SQL databases for data validation.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD/BDD).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with mobile automation testing using Appium.

Experience

3-6 years of relevant experience in test automation using Java and associated frameworks.

Environment

• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Work Arrangement: Work from office once a week.
• Location: Whitefield, Bengaluru.

Salary

INR 60,000 to 100,000 per month based on experience.
