Legal:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage vendor and service agreements to ensure alignment with Tapfin’s risk and compliance standards.
• Provide legal guidance on commercial transactions, operational activities, and partnerships.
• Liaise with external legal counsel as needed for dispute resolution, contracts, and litigation matters.

Compliance:

• Ensure end-to-end compliance with RBI regulations, fintech-specific licensing, and applicable financial services laws.
• Stay updated on evolving regulatory frameworks and ensures timely implementation of changes.
• Maintain and update internal policies to align with compliance and legal requirements.

Corporate & Shareholding Compliance:

• Ensure proper documentation and legal compliance around shareholder agreements, cap tables, and equity transactions.
• Support the CFO in managing board and shareholder meetings, statutory filings, and company secretarial responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s in Law (LLM) or CS qualification is a plus.
• Significant experience in legal and compliance, preferably in fintech, NBFC, or BFSI sectors.
• Solid understanding of shareholding compliance, RBI compliance requirements, regulatory reporting, and contract law.
• Experience handling legal matters related to shareholders, equity transactions, and corporate filings.
