<div>Job Title: Security Officer</div> <div>Organization: [Mangalam Organic Ltd, Kumbhivali]</div> <div>Reports To: Admin Head</div> <div>Job Purpose: To ensure the overall safety and security of personnel, plant premises, and assets.</div> <div>The role is ideal for retired personnel from the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, or Air Force), leveraging their discipline, vigilance, and leadership for safeguarding the chemical plant.</div> <div>Key Responsibilities:</div> <div>● Perimeter and Access Control: o Supervise entry/exit of personnel, vehicles, and materials. o Monitor and maintain gate registers, visitor logs, and movement slips. o Prevent unauthorized access to sensitive or restricted areas.</div> <div>● Surveillance and Monitoring: o Operate and monitor CCTV systems and other surveillance tools. o Conduct regular patrolling of the plant premises (internal and external). o Identify and report any suspicious activity or security breaches.</div> <div>● Crisis and Emergency Management: o Act as first responder for fire, gas leak, chemical spills, or other emergencies. o Coordinate evacuation plans and conduct emergency drills. o Liaise with local police, fire, and medical services as needed.</div> <div>● Compliance and Documentation: o Ensure security procedures comply with company policies, government, and environmental regulations. o Maintain incident reports, daily activity logs, and gate pass records.</div> <div>● Team Management: o Supervise and train contract security personnel or guards. o Ensure discipline, punctuality, and proper conduct among the team.</div> <div>● Coordination: o Work closely with plant operations, HR, safety, and administrative departments. o Support audits and inspections from external agencies and authorities.</div> <div>Eligibility Criteria:</div> <div>● Retired Personnel from the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, or equivalent defense services.</div> <div>● Age: Preferably below 45 years.</div> <div>● Familiarity with fire safety, industrial security, and emergency handling is preferred. Preferred Skills:</div> <div>● Strong leadership and communication skills.</div> <div>● Physically fit with high alertness.</div> <div>● Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly.</div> <div>● Basic knowledge of industrial hazards and chemical plant operations is an advantage.</div> <div>Remuneration: Up to 10 Lacs.</div>
