Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Modeler with 5-10 years of experience to join our team immediately in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will be adept at data modeling, particularly using Azure and SAP technologies, contributing to projects across various domains including Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and more.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models using industry-standard tools such as ER/Studio, Erwin, and IDM/ARDM models.
• Implement and optimize data models across CPG, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, Supplier, and Customer domains.
• Work with at least one Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) database technology like Databricks Lakehouse, Redshift, Synapse, Teradata, or Snowflake.
• Utilize version control systems, especially GitHub, and manage deployment & CI tools.
• Engage in metadata management, ensuring data lineage and consistency of data glossaries.
• Apply knowledge of agile development methodologies, including DevOps and DataOps concepts.
• Leverage knowledge of SAP data models, particularly relating to HANA and S/4HANA, as well as retail data from sources such as IRI and Nielsen Retail.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in data modeling.
• Strong expertise in data modeling tools (specifically ER/Studio, Erwin, IDM/ARDM models).
• Proficiency with MPP databases (e.g., Databricks Lakehouse, Redshift, Synapse, Teradata, Snowflake).
• Experience with version control (e.g., GitHub) and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with metadata management, data lineage, and data glossaries is preferred.
• Understanding of agile development, especially DevOps and DataOps principles.
• Experience with SAP data models, particularly HANA and S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of retail data metrics and sources (e.g., IRI, Nielsen Retail).

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Data Modeling or relevant tools.
• Additional experience in data warehousing and BI tools.

Experience

• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in data modeling and related fields.

• Remote position, allowing flexible work conditions.

Salary

• The salary for this position is 1.3 LPM (Lakhs Per Month) based on experience.
