AMS Verification

Job Summary

The AMS Verification role is designed for an experienced professional who will contribute significantly to the verification of analog and mixed-signal (AMS) integrated circuits. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that product specifications are met through rigorous testing and validation processes, ultimately supporting the organization's goals of delivering high-quality semiconductor solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct AMS verification on multiple intellectual properties (IPs) utilizing Cadence (Xcelium + Spectre) or Synopsys (XA-VCS) simulation environments.
• Prepare test plans in accordance with product specifications and dynamics.
• Debug test cases and propose new testing scenarios to enhance verification coverage.
• Demonstrate functional knowledge of analog and mixed-signal building blocks, including data converters, comparators, operational amplifiers, switched capacitor circuits, and various ADCs and DACs.
• Familiarity with digital design techniques, Verilog Hardware Description Language (HDL), and analog circuit basics, with previous analog design experience considered a plus.
• Engage in behavioral modeling for both digital (Verilog-D) and analog (Verilog-A or Verilog-AMS).
• Manage project dynamics concerning scope, schedule, and effort, while developing alternative verification plans as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in AMS verification.
• Proficiency in AMS simulation environments (Cadence or Synopsys).
• Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal building blocks.
• Experience in preparing test plans and debugging test cases.
• Knowledge of digital design techniques and Verilog HDL.
• Familiarity with behavioral modeling concepts in both digital and analog contexts.
• Educational background in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
