Job Summary

The Platform Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing solutions utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, with an emphasis on modern architecture principles. This role collaborates closely with software engineers and product teams to ensure the platform capabilities meet application requirements. The engineer will also focus on developing and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and managing container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Experience: 6-9 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and GCP services.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, FinOps principles, and monitoring tools like DataDog.
• Certifications: Bonus qualifications include certifications in GCP, Kubernetes, or security domains.

• Experience in travel or airline technology.
