Business Development Lead
Job Summary
The Business Development Lead will drive the organization’s growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leading business development initiatives. This role is instrumental in expanding market reach, generating new leads, and establishing long-term partnerships to achieve company revenue and growth objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in business development and leadership, with a strong ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve growth targets.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies and plans.
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor business development team members as needed.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in driving business growth initiatives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other business development tools.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a leadership or team lead role within business development.
