WHAT WILL YOU DO AT WHOLSUM FOODS?
Are you ready to shape the future of data analytics in a fast-paced startup environment? We are
looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to build our central data analytics function.
This function will report into the Head of our central Strategy and Innovation Team.
As the first hire for this function, you will get the opportunity to shape the future of data analytics at
Wholsum Foods and define the strategic direction of our data analytics initiatives, drive data-driven
decision-making, and make a significant impact on our business growth. This is an exciting role for a
visionary leader who is passionate about leveraging data to unlock valuable insights and drive
innovation
Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting
Developing a Comprehensive DATA BASE of current and prospective HORECA/B2B Customers
and creating a system of contacting “Prospects” and Tracking the same.Oversee this sales
pipeline - develop and execute strategies to increase leads/customers at all stages of the
funnel. Lead reporting for the vertical.
2. New account acquisition & development
Oversee sales pipeline - develop and execute strategies to acquire leads at all stages of the
funnel.Work within allocated marketing and promotional budgets to deliver targeted growth
and brand building, oversee the development of relevant campaigns and
collaterals.Personally lead sales activities for high-level accounts.Develop and execute
process-driven strategies for pitching, on-boarding and customer service.Handling all
communications and B2B/HORECA queries on new business development.
3. Key Account Management
Planning and achieving target account wise share.
Developing and Implementing Account wise Sales Plan in addition to finalizing trade terms,
Cross selling/upselling, ensuring ongoing orders and supply. Oversee accounts receivables
and debt collection, resolve all long outstanding debts along with the help of accounting and
finance team.
Propose and follow up on regional actions / promotions / Events / trade fairs in order to
reach the sales targets.Maintain close & meaningful relationships with high-value
customers.Establish rapport with key decision makers.Track customer complaints and ensure
timely resolution.
4. New Product Introduction
Creating and Implementing New Product Launch plan as per the business plan.
Tracking Competition and new product launches to evaluate impact of various players in the
market. Giving feedback about various competitive activities to the marketing team and
products feedback to the R&D team.
5. Pricing
Release pricing norms regularly based on the agreed pricing strategy to drive margins.
Building and developing strong business relationships with new and existing HORECA/B2B
channels.
Evaluating information related to HORECA sales, promotions, competition and market
research.
Managing HORECA sales budgets and new implementations. Negotiating HORECA/B2B sales
contracts and marketing strategies.Developing and accessing the national HORECA/B2B
marketing strategy to increase customer acquisition and retention.
6. Merchandising
Develop commercially viable product propositions (using existing SF and Mille products and
appropriate merchandise) for sales to various channels i.e. birthday party, corporates for
Diwali/New Year/New employee packs etc.
