Job Summary
The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the systems. With a strong focus on automation and efficiency, this role contributes significantly to the operational success and scalability of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Automate deployment and operations processes using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Monitor system health and performance using tools from the OSS stack (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Maintain and optimize container orchestration using Kubernetes and EKS.
Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a related role.
- Technical Skills:
- Expert in Linux.
- Expert in Docker/Containers.
- Expert in Kubernetes/EKS.
- AWS architect-level certification.
- Intermediate level Python Development.
- Expert in Version Control (Git) and Github.
- Expert in Terraform/Infrastructure as Code.
- Expert in Monitoring/Alerting specifically with the OSS stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Thanos, etc.).
- Expert in ElasticSearch/Kibana.
- Expert in Cloud Networking.
- Expert in Istio.
Preferred Skills
No additional skills or qualifications specified; however, experience in cloud platforms outside AWS may be beneficial.
Experience
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar capacity is required.
Environment
This is a remote position, allowing flexibility in work location.
Salary
The estimated salary is 1.1 Lakh per month (LPM).
