Job Summary

The Test Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of software applications through rigorous testing. This position focuses on both UI and API automation, contributing to the overall efficiency of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct software quality assurance for UI and API automation using Rest Assured.
• Implement API testing using the Karate framework.
• Perform UI testing using Selenium to ensure application functionality and performance.
• Manage test data and perform analysis to support testing efforts.
• Create detailed test scenarios and provide guidance to the testing team throughout the testing process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of testing strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5-8 years in software quality assurance.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in API automation using Rest Assured.
  • Familiarity with Firestore and Cloud SQL.
  • Experience with the Karate framework for API testing.
  • Strong knowledge of UI testing tools, particularly Selenium.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Educational Qualifications: Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years and up to 8 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance.

• Position is located in Trivandrum.
