Job Summary

The Software Engineer, Frontend, will be responsible for developing new features for Firi's mobile app and web app, ensuring high performance and accessibility. This role focuses on collaborating with design and product teams to prototype, launch, and refine user-facing features that enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for Firi's mobile app (React Native/Expo) and web app (Next.js) with a focus on performance and accessibility.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, and other teams to quickly prototype, launch, and refine new features.
• Enhance rendering, streaming, and interaction speeds across platforms.
• Build core growth infrastructure, including notifications, attribution, and analytics.
• Conduct experiments to improve user journeys based on data and feedback.

Qualifications

• 6 - 8 years of experience in a full-stack or frontend engineering role at a product company.
• Proficient in React Native (Expo), Next.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiar with Azure and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Skilled in PostgreSQL, Redis, and API design.
• Backend experience with Node.js and Python/FastAPI is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of modern frontend development tools and practices.
• Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development strategies.
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and user interface (UI) design.

Experience
