As a Sales Engineer at Light Forms, you will play a key role in pre-sales and post-sales activities, combining technical expertise with client relationship management. The role requires strong on-site presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver tailored lighting solutions for premium projects.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales

  • Understand customer and project requirements in depth and map all participating stakeholders.
  • Evaluate opportunities and demonstrate value propositions for Light Forms in competitive bids.
  • Provide technical guidance and prepare detailed quotations aligned with client needs.
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to architects, consultants, and developers.

Post-Sales

  • Coordinate logistics, installation, and handover of lighting projects.
  • Ensure seamless execution at project sites in collaboration with contractors and internal teams.
  • Manage payment follow-ups and project closure documentation.

Client & Project Management

  • Interpret construction layouts/drawings for accurate product application.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with architects, designers, and institutional clients.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of enquiries, projects, and site progress in CRM.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline).
  • Experience: 1–4 years in sales engineering, project sales, or technical client servicing (lighting, interiors, building materials, or construction preferred).
  • Knowledge of product application and working with construction layouts.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work extensively on project sites and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to CRM tools is an advantage.
