We're looking for an experienced person to<br /> manage and scale operations for our brands across different channels. A key function is<br /> Operations and Distribution that is critical to the growth of the organisation.<br /> Role: Vice President, Operations<br /> Role Overview: The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for leading the operational<br /> strategy and execution for our eCommerce business. This senior leadership role involves<br /> overseeing all operational functions, including supply chain, logistics, order fulfillment, customer<br /> service, and team management. The VP of Operations will drive operational excellence and<br /> support the company’s growth and strategic objectives.<br /> Responsibilities:<br /> Strategic Leadership:<br /> ● Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies aligned with company goals.<br /> ● Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.<br /> Operational Oversight:<br /> ● Oversee the end-to-end operations including supply chain management, logistics,<br /> warehousing, and order fulfillment.<br /> ● Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize processes and improve<br /> performance.<br /> Performance Management:<br /> ● Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational success.<br /> ● Analyze performance data, generate insights, and implement improvements to meet<br /> targets.<br /> Team Leadership:<br /> ● Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.<br /> ● Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.<br /> Vendor and Supplier Management:<br /> ● Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.<br /> ● Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance to ensure quality and<br /> cost-efficiency.<br /> Financial Management:<br /> ● Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance related to operations.<br /> ● Implement cost-control measures and optimize resource allocation.<br /> Compliance and Risk Management:<br /> ● Ensure operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.<br /> ● Develop and manage risk mitigation strategies to safeguard operations.<br /> Technology and Innovation:<br /> ● Leverage technology and data analytics to drive process improvements and operational<br /> efficiency.<br /> ● Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to enhance<br /> operations.<br /> Desired Skills & Requirements<br /> ● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.<br /> An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.<br /> ● 10+ years of experience in operations management within eCommerce or a related<br /> industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role ( previous experience with D2C<br /> brands is preferred).<br /> ● Proven track record of driving operational excellence and managing complex supply<br /> chains.<br /> ● Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.<br /> ● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.<br /> ● Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and eCommerce technologies.
