Jr. JAVA - Backend

Job Summary

The Jr. JAVA - Backend role is primarily focused on providing application support for the Business Integration Suite. This position involves classic product support, operational responsibilities, and monitoring within the scope of CLIENT Remote Services. The successful candidate will contribute to the organization's goals by ensuring the smooth operation of integration processes and resolving technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for the Business Integration Suite, including operational and monitoring responsibilities.
• Perform L1 and L2 level production support and technical issue resolution.
• Utilize mapping/converter tools (e.g., BICMD, IBM Sterling Integrator, TIBCO) for various file formats.
• Manage Trading Partner Onboarding and communication setups (AS2, FTP, sFTP, HTTPS, OFTP, JMS, Idoc).
• Conduct end-to-end testing of various file formats (X12, EDIFACT, JSON, XML, cXML) and industry-specific transactions.
• Assist in production issue resolution and root cause analysis, including reviewing logs for production issues and user activities.
• Gather user feedback on system accuracy, efficiency, and functionality.
• Identify areas for improvement in system performance and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (BCS, MCS, B.E, B.Tech).
• 7+ years of integration experience with CLIENT integration suite or similar products (IBM, Axway, Mulesoft, etc.).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Java.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (FTP, sFTP, OFTP, AS2, HTTPS) and their setup.
• Familiarity with tools like HPSM, JIRA, Remedy, SNOW, Putty, WinSCP, and Filezilla.
• Experience with various file formats and standards (JSON, XML, Idoc, CSV, cXML, EDIFACT, X12).
• Proficiency in database systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL, Sybase) and UNIX/Linux/Windows platforms.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with BICMD or other mapping tools.
• Proficiency in shell and JAVA scripting.
• Knowledge of B2B and monitoring solutions.
• Experience with industry-specific business processes and related message/file formats.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant integration experience.
