The Role
We are seeking a talented and driven Analyst – Operations to contribute to our dynamic team. In this role, you will work across the fund’s portfolio companies to achieve strategic objectives and maximize shareholder value throughout the investment lifecycle.
This is a hands-on role involving close working with the company’s CEO, CXOs and other managers and requires developing good working relationships with them. You will also support in evaluating new deals by working on Commercial and Operating diligence workstreams and developing Value Creation Plans for new businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with investment teams to validate revenue projections, market-entry strategies, and business plans for new deals
- Support in market and competitive assessments to understand industry size, growth opportunities and benchmark target positioning
- Assist in developing Value Creation Plan for new businesses and support in implementation
- Partner with portfolio company leadership to identify and implement operational improvements.
- Support development and execution of strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and stronger financial controls at portfolio companies
- Project management of various workstreams and track delivery of work against actions plans and KPIs
- Analyze company performance across a variety of financial and operational parameters, report challenges and suggest changes. Conduct regular reviews of portfolio company performance and provide actionable insights.
- Manage change within portfolio companies across levels
- Engage in industry and company research including financial functioning, operations benchmarking
- Interpret company accounts, profit and loss sheets and cash flow information, models
- Write business performance summaries
- Understand industry dynamics and positioning of the company within its peer group
Experience, Skills, Qualification:
- Ability to understand business and identify focus areas/insights
- Inter-personal skills – requires engagement across the organization. Relationship building with company promoters, management (across levels)
- Ability to multi-task across assignments and tasks
- Excellent written and spoken communication

- Analytical capability, including excel and tools
