Job Summary
The Test Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining test specifications for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test cases. This role is crucial for ensuring comprehensive test coverage and alignment with system requirements, ultimately contributing to the organization’s quality assurance and product development goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test specification documents for HiL test cases.
- Analyze and interpret system requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify and document gaps in system requirements and test specifications.
- Collaborate with system engineers to trace requirements to test cases and ensure alignment.
- Review and validate test specifications for completeness, accuracy, and traceability.
- Support test execution on HiL benches as needed.
- Utilize tools such as CANoe, dSPACE Control Desk, and Automation Desk for test development and automation.
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (specific degree not specified).
- Proficiency in Python or Visual Basic Scripting (mandatory).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
