Dyno Operations End-End

Job Summary

The Dyno Operations End-End role is responsible for managing and overseeing test lab shift operations, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of testing activities. The role involves supervising lab technicians, handling lab rigs such as chassis dynos, transmission dynos, and climatic chambers, and ensuring proper installation, commissioning, and maintenance of test equipment. The candidate will work closely with Product Requirement Document (PRD) engineers to execute test cases, analyze data, and produce quality test reports, contributing to the accuracy and reliability of vehicle and system testing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee lab technicians to achieve required test results during shifts.
  • Operate and maintain lab rigs including chassis dynos, transmission dynos, and climatic chambers.
  • Install and commission test rigs such as chassis dynos, climatic chambers, and transmission rigs.
  • Execute test cases for PRD attributes and ensure adherence to test standards and procedures.
  • Perform service and maintenance of all equipment and rigs to ensure operational readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with PRD engineers to ensure accuracy in attribute testing.
  • Identify, raise bugs, and promptly highlight critical failures in systems or vehicles.
  • Ensure proper usage and handling of equipment, instruments, and machinery.
  • Create detailed and quality test reports containing relevant and accurate information.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in dyno operations and control systems, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of electric vehicle performance parameters.
  • Experience in instrumentation, data acquisition, and data processing.
  • Basic data analysis skills.
  • Excellent data visualization skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift schedule.
  • Educational qualifications typically include a degree in Engineering or a related technical field (e.g., BTech, BSc in Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive Engineering).

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced data analysis and interpretation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with automotive testing standards and procedures.
  • Experience with software tools used for data acquisition and visualization.
  • Knowledge of electric vehicle systems and components.

Experience

  • Relevant experience in dyno operations, automotive testing, or instrumentation.
  • Experience working in a lab or test environment with shift operations.

Environment

  • Work mode is hybrid, based in Bangalore.
  • The role requires working in a test lab environment with hands-on interaction with mechanical and electronic test rigs.
  • Must be adaptable to a 3-shift work schedule.

Salary

  • Estimated salary: ₹3,000,000 INR per annum.
