Job Summary

The .NET Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance software solutions using the .NET technology stack. This contractual position requires expertise in architecting robust systems, guiding development teams, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading technology decisions, establishing coding standards, and delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure applications using the .NET framework.
  • Lead the technical direction and strategy for .NET-based projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Guide and mentor development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor existing applications to enhance performance and maintainability.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in C# programming and ASP.NET.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with object-oriented design and development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET development and architecture.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Advanced certifications in .NET or related technologies.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in .NET development and architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading software architecture initiatives and mentoring development teams.

Environment
