Job Summary

We are seeking a high-caliber Investor Relations professional to lead domestic fundraising initiatives and strengthen long-term investor partnerships for our private equity platform. This role is critical in managing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), and domestic limited partners (LPs), while supporting strategic capital formation. The candidate will also drive pre- and post-capital commitment activities for individual and institutional investors.

Responsibilities

• Domestic Fundraising & Capital Formation

  • Support the design and execution of domestic fundraising strategy across Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) structures.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective Indian LPs, including institutions, corporates, and family offices.
  • Track fundraising progress, investor engagement metrics, and pipeline status.
  • Coordinate roadshows, investor meetings, and fundraising events.
  • Prepare and customize investor materials including pitch decks, Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) summaries, and performance updates.

• Investor Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors to deliver periodic reporting, including investor-related data.
  • Build factsheets, presentations, quarterly/annual reports to communicate portfolio milestones, performance, and key events for investor reporting.
  • Manage ongoing communication including quarterly reports, capital call notices, distribution updates, and portfolio performance narratives.
  • Contribute creatively to investor newsletters and fund updates, working closely with finance and investment teams to ensure accurate performance reporting.
  • Ensure timely responses to investor queries with high professionalism and accuracy.

• International Exposure (Advantage)

  • Assist in communication with foreign LPs when required.
  • Support global fundraising initiatives by aligning materials with international investor expectations and reporting standards.
  • Help manage data room processes and due diligence requests from overseas investors.

• Brand Positioning & Communication

  • Strengthen the firm’s positioning among domestic LP networks through thought leadership, conferences, and relationship-building initiatives.
  • Attend various events and conferences aligned with fund focus areas and provide feedback to the team on industry trends, key competitor insights, and investor perception.
  • Organize various investor engagement events, including investor roadshows, conferences, and LP meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage investor relationships effectively.
• In-depth understanding of the Indian private equity market and competitive landscape.
• Experience in fundraising strategy and execution.
• Ability to create persuasive investor materials and reports.
• Strong analytical skills to track and report fundraising progress and investor engagement metrics.
• Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (an MBA or equivalent is preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Experience engaging with international LPs or exposure to cross-border investor communication.
• Familiarity with Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) regulations and best practices.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to influence at senior levels.

Experience

• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or a related field in the finance or investment sector.

Environment
