Job Summary

The Vice President of Technology will be responsible for leading the engineering department in building and scaling products from inception to deployment. This role will focus on leveraging cloud technologies, AI/ML integrations, and fostering a strong engineering culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team in developing scalable software products from the ground up.
• Architect and implement solutions utilizing AWS cloud, Java, React.js, SQL, and MongoDB.
• Drive the integration of AI/ML capabilities into production-level products.
• Hire, structure, and manage a high-performing engineering team while being accountable for team output.
• Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to align product development with business objectives.
• Provide strategic direction and shape the technological vision of the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech) from a Tier 1 college.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including leadership roles.
• Proven experience in building products from inception to market in an early-stage startup environment.
• Extensive proficiency with AWS cloud services, Java, React.js, SQL, and MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML and the ability to integrate these technologies effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and engineering management.
