Sales-Intern
Job Summary
As a Sales-Intern, you will play a crucial role in driving client acquisition and business growth for our PR and strategic communications agency. You will gain hands-on experience in identifying potential clients, creating customised pitches, managing the sales process, and collaborating with internal teams. This internship is ideal for individuals passionate about sales, communications, and building relationships within the business-to-business (B2B) sector.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target mid-to-large businesses in need of PR and strategic communications services.
- Lead client acquisition by creating customised PR pitches aligned with business goals.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior decision-makers, marketing heads, entrepreneurs, and brand managers.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including outreach, presentations, pricing negotiations, and contract closures.
- Collaborate closely with internal strategy and client servicing teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and service delivery.
- Track pipeline, report on sales performance, and contribute to business forecasting.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings to position the agency’s value proposition effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in sales, business development, or public relations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and build rapport with senior professionals.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent tools.

- Minimum educational qualification: Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree (any discipline).

- Prior internship or project experience in sales, marketing, or business development (not mandatory).
- Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools.
- Understanding of PR and strategic communications concepts.
- Analytical and research skills for market and competitor analysis.
