Founding Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Founding Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong technical background and early-stage startup experience. The ideal candidate is an innovative, resourceful, and entrepreneurial engineer ready to help build and shape our next-generation AI and technology products. Your contributions will be critical in defining our product roadmap, architecting cutting-edge solutions, and establishing our technology foundation.

Responsibilities

• Product Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative products with an emphasis on AI domains such as voice AI, vision AI, and fine-tuning models at the layer level.
• Technical Strategy: Collaborate with the founding team to define the product vision and technology roadmap, making key architectural and strategic decisions.
• Project Delivery: Bring forward active contributions with demonstrable projects on GitHub, participate in hackathons, and drive research initiatives.
• Integration & Innovation: Develop and enhance browser extensions and other tech prototypes while integrating frameworks like Langchain and Langraph into product solutions.
• Mentorship & Culture: Foster a startup culture of creativity, rigorous problem-solving, and technical excellence by mentoring team members and setting high standards.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Preference for candidates from premier institutes (IIT, IIIT) with degrees in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and TypeScript with a proven record of developing and deploying AI-driven solutions.
• Open Source & Community Engagement: A strong GitHub profile with active projects, participation in GSOC, ACM ICPC, hackathons, and contributions to research papers.
• Domain Expertise: Hands-on experience with modern AI technologies including context-aware frameworks (Langraph/Langchain), voice AI solutions, and advanced fine-tuning techniques.
• Development Skills: Experience building browser extensions and working on vision AI projects.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to founding teams or holding an ex-founder experience in a startup environment.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and operate in fast-paced environments.
• Additional experience in prestigious hackathons or high-impact engineering projects is a plus.

Experience

• 2-7 Years: Proven track record as an early-stage startup founder or as a key founding team member with significant engineering contributions.
