Job Summary

The Analytics Engineer will leverage data analysis and engineering skills to support data-driven decision-making processes within the organization. The role involves developing and maintaining analytics solutions, ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of data, and collaborating with various teams to enhance data utilization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data models and dashboards using Domo and Looker.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data to provide insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Optimize existing data pipelines and analytics processes for better performance.
• Document analytics processes and best practices for the team.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a similar role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Domo and Looker for data visualization.
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and database design.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for data analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
