Job Summary
The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies and marketing initiatives for the Pens, Markers, and Adhesives categories. This role will aim to strengthen the brand's market position and drive consumer engagement through innovative marketing campaigns and product management, contributing to the organization's overall objectives.
Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Positioning:
Develop and execute comprehensive brand plans for the Pens, Markers, and Adhesives categories in line with the organization's overall brand architecture and strategic objectives. Identify key consumer segments, usage occasions, and whitespace opportunities for category expansion. -
Marketing & Communication:
Conceptualize, create, and oversee marketing campaigns—digital, Above The Line (ATL), Below The Line (BTL), and in-store—for product launches, promotions, and category-specific initiatives. Craft compelling content and narratives across formats (packaging, digital assets, print collaterals, POS materials, etc.). Collaborate with creative agencies, content creators, and internal design teams to ensure high-impact communication across channels. -
Activations & Events:
Plan and manage brand activations such as partnerships with Kidzania, exhibitions, school outreach programs, and trade fairs. Ensure brand consistency and engagement through memorable consumer experiences. -
Product & Portfolio Management:
Work closely with the Product Development and R&D teams to influence product innovation, packaging design, and pricing strategies based on consumer insights and market trends. Maintain a strong pulse on competitor activity and consumer trends to drive differentiation and relevance. -
Performance Monitoring & Insights:
Track brand and category performance through market data, sales reports, and consumer feedback. Analyze campaign Return on Investment (ROI) and brand health metrics; optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications

Education:
MBA or equivalent degree in Marketing/Brand Management from a reputed institution. -
Experience:
2+ years of experience in brand management or advertising, preferably in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), Consumer Goods, Stationery, or the advertising sector. -
Skills:
Proven track record of managing brands or product portfolios, with experience in ATL/BTL and digital marketing. Experience with children's or youth-oriented brands is a plus. -
Personal Traits:
A creative thinker with a strategic mindset, strong project management skills, consumer-obsessed, insight-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating across departments and managing external partners.

Experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in brand management or advertising.
Environment
The position is based in Vikhroli, Mumbai, requiring 6 days of working from 10 am to 6:30 pm, with occasional travel for brand activations and market visits.
