Job Summary

As a BTP Developer, the primary responsibility is to design, build, and deploy applications and extensions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and other clean core technologies. This role is crucial for developing next-generation SAP S/4HANA applications and ensuring adherence to agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and design solutions leveraging applicable BTP components and services.
• Build next-generation SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP applications and extensions while adhering to agile development methodologies.
• Conduct quality reviews and participate in project quality management tasks, including peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents, and code.
• Evaluate and utilize SAP BTP services effectively.
• Drive quality and standards within the software engineering community, providing innovative solution approaches and suggestions for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
• Continually enhance existing skills and seek new areas for personal development.
• Learn and understand business processes to align development efforts with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification:
  • Professional graduation in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Additional associated degree preferred.
• Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given parameters and standard practices.

Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on development experience on SAP S/4HANA.
• 2+ years of experience on SAP BTP.

Mandatory Skills

• Proficient in designing, building, and deploying applications and extensions on BTP or other clean core technologies like SAP Build and SAP BTP ABAP environment.
• Programming languages and skills: ABAP, Java or JavaScript (in Side-by-Side and Core scenarios), Node.js.
• UI development experience with HTML5, SAPUI5/Fiori.
• Development experience with two or more BTP extension technologies, including:
  • Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
  • ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud ABAP Environment (Embedded Steampunk)
  • Low-Code/No-Code platform for Citizen Development
  • Workflow Management
• Knowledge of database features (HANA).
• Working knowledge of tools:
  • SAP ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
  • SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)
  • SAP Build Apps (a plus).
• Familiarity with platform services used for technical tasks, such as Audit Log, HANA Cloud, Notifications, Cloud Foundry, CI/CD, SAP Business Application Studio, Transport Management, and connectivity.
• Strong analytical capabilities and a service- and solution-oriented work attitude.
• Eager to learn and share knowledge within the community.

• Job Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Pune.
• Job Work Type: Contract.
• Job Work Mode: In-office.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹3,000,000.
