Job description
We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the Import Coordinator position for our USA-
based apparel company. The role involves managing inbound import shipments and
collaborating closely with factories and the production team.

Responsibilities include:
 Preparing plans on receiving the shipments
 Working with our customs broker to classify garments and assign HTS numbers in
coordination with production Department
 Processing ISF entries
 Reviewing import documents for correct pricing and order information.
 Work closely with production team and must efficiently communicate with factories and
freight forwarders
 Updating records and data entry in ERP system (Exenta)
 Preparing documents for customs entry and verifying them
 Tracking shipments from point of origin to warehouse receipt.
 Coordinating pier and airport freight pick-ups with our trucking company.
 Following up with our warehouse for timely unloading of merchandise.
 Approval of invoices from the customs brokers, trucking company, and the warehouse.
Requirements:
 A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position is required.
 Working in an apparel industry experience is plus
 The person needs to be very detail oriented, very good at follow-up and problem solving.
 Associate or bachelor’s degree desired.
 An experience in Blue Cherry ERP or Exenta / Simparel is plus
 Must be proficient in working in Outlook and Excel.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 3 lacs to 4 lacs per year
Schedule:
 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST (8 hours shift)
