About Jio BlackRock: In July 2023, BlackRock and Jio Financial Services Limited (JFS) announced an agreement to
form Jio BlackRock, a 50:50 joint venture that combines the respective strengths and trusted brands of BlackRock and
JFS to deliver tech-enabled access to affordable, innovative investment solutions for millions of investors in India.
The ambition is to become market leader in asset management by 2030. According to estimates from the Association
of Mutual Funds in India, assets under management of Indian mutual funds doubled to INR 44.39 trillion (USD 542
billion) in the five years to June 2023.
Jio BlackRock brings BlackRock’s deep expertise and talent in investment management, risk management, product
excellence, access to technology, operations, scale, and intellectual capital around markets, while JFS contributes local
market knowledge, customer reach, digital infrastructure capabilities and robust execution capabilities.
Together, the partnership will introduce a new player to the India market with a unique combination of scope, scale, and
resources. JFS and BlackRock are targeting initial investment of US$150 million each in the joint venture. The joint
venture will have its own management team and will launch operations post all regulatory and statutory approvals.
About this role:
Affluent is a segment of customers who are High Net Worth who expect customized wealth management solutions
to meet their financial objectives. They require personalized services along with investment expertise and ease of
execution. Affluent Business offer a gamut of different product offerings tailor-made to its customers with
seamless touchpoints.
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for nurturing HNI client relationships through risk profiling,
continuous client engagements and providing investment solutions. The RM will be responsible for identification
of potential customers and providing them customized solutions as per their requirements. The position entails
client management and acquisition with a key focus on expanding the Asset Under Management. Key capabilities
include working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams to design, collaborate with
multiple stakeholders and provide tailored investment products aligned to customer needs. The center of all client
engagements will be to ensure superior customer experience.
Key responsibilities:
• Provide financial solutions to HNI customers while maintaining high service standards.
• Maintain complete customer profile including the risk profile, demographics, and portfolio allocation.
• Enrich relationships and garner higher wallet share through customer engagement activities.
• Deepen the existing relationships by garnering client portfolio allocations across all the key offerings of
Jio BlackRock
• Identify potential customers who can be sold tailored products to enhance product penetration.
• Acquire new customers by converting referral leads.
• Achieve targets as assigned by the organization monthly.
• Record and track all engagement activities through the CRM system.
• Comply with the rules and regulations laid out by the regulator
