Job Description
- Broad responsibility: Somebody who has built a consumer brand in the past, like complex services, jewellery, or high ticket items, which are research backed. Somebody who is sharper than the founder itself. Internal brand building. Respecting the SOPs of the business. Taj level hospitality is what the business does. The person also will have a say on the look and feel of the company on how the catalogue, office space looks. They want to become the industry leader and disruptor in the wedding industry. Somebody with 0-1 experience. Building campaigns, doing thorough market research with consumer insights. Old school BTL and offline experience is good to have.<br /> <br />
- Current marketing team structure: 1 performance marketing 2 graphic designer 1 content strategist. - Total 4 people.<br /> <br />
- Team size reporting to the HoM: Same as above.<br /> <br />
- Flexibility to build the team further: Hire couple of people further in Content and Social media. Eventually 7-8 people of the social media management team. Total team of 10 for next couple of years.<br /> <br />
- Marketing budgets:70-80 lacs current budget which is 10% of the monthly revenue. But open to discussing further. <br /> <br />
- Company background/ revenue: Split of offline, online & if only online D2C & marketplaces split: Most of it is offline.<br /> <br />
- Reporting to: Lakshminarayan (Co-Founder)<br /> <br />
- Preferred candidate exp: brand/ digital heavy or mix of both (generally 1 of the skills will be stronger over the other). If brand heavy, pls ask if the revenue & P&L responsibility will be with the HoM or do they have another Head of Growth?: Brand heavy person is required.<br /> <br />
- Preferred sector: Mentioned above.<br />
- CTC budget + structure: 65-70 lpa plus ESOPs/. 8-15 plus years experience.<br />
- Location: bangalore (preferred) or delhi<br />
- Pedigree: No preference<br />
- Is 0-1 experience mandatory or okay with 1-10/ 10-100 ? - Yes 0-1 preferred.<br />
- Have they met any candidates already? If yes, how many & what hasn’t worked out so far: met 3-4 people. the people were junior and not sharp enough. Kartik (CMO of Livspace is an advisor)
