UI/UX Designer

Company Overview

Contineu is building an AI-based quality control and defect management platform for construction sites, focused on automatically detecting possible defects and quality issues across trades while marking them on the floorplan. The platform has already been deployed in collaboration with some of the largest companies in the country.

Job Summary

As a UI/UX Designer at Contineu, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences for our web and mobile applications. You will work on creating a cohesive design system, developing innovative brand visuals, and ensuring high conversion rates on our website. Your role will include collaborating with various teams to ship pixel-perfect features on time, leveraging user feedback for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Product Design: Create end-to-end user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designs for our web and mobile applications, including flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, and interactive prototypes.
  • Design System: Maintain and evolve a consistent, reusable component library across all user touchpoints.
  • Brand & Visuals: Develop illustrations, marketing assets, and merchandise that distinctly represent the Contineu brand.
  • Website Management: Design, ship, and iterate on high-conversion web pages using Framer/Webflow, minimizing the need for development hand-offs.
  • Iterative Feedback Loops: Conduct user testing, run quick experiments, and make data-informed refinements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and company founders to deliver high-quality features on schedule.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional UI/UX experience with shipped B2B or SaaS products.
  • Expertise in Figma; proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with Framer and Webflow is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy, with the ability to justify design choices.
  • A proven portfolio showcasing clean, user-centric design for both mobile and web interfaces.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of defending design decisions with data and user research insights.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to refining designs until completion.

Preferred Skills

  • Skills in motion design or micro-animation.
  • Experience with data-heavy or 3D/visual-analytics interfaces.
  • Familiarity with construction technology or other industrial sectors.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in UI/UX design.

Environment

  • Location: Preferred at Bangalore HQ; remote work considered for exceptional candidates.
  • Type: Full-time employee position (not contract).
