Job Summary
The Senior Infra Engineer is responsible for providing advanced support in Infrastructure Engineering, focusing on a range of technologies. This role plays a critical part in enhancing the availability and performance of infrastructure systems, ensuring they meet organizational standards. The ideal candidate will work initially from the office for three months for transition, with the option of hybrid work thereafter.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3, 24x7 technology support for escalated Infrastructure Engineering issues.
- Assist with design, deployment, management, and maintenance of infrastructure systems across various technology verticals including Network, Storage, Compute, Virtualization, Telephony, Cloud Infrastructure, and Automation & Orchestration.
- Conduct system monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and lifecycle management to ensure system availability.
- Enhance knowledge of infrastructure security strategies and apply knowledge to meet or exceed standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and IT personnel to support enterprise applications and hardware.
- Pursue continued education and training to improve technology skill proficiencies.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional interaction that aligns with organizational values.
- Manage aggressive deadlines and dynamic workloads with a self-starting attitude.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6-7 years of experience in relevant infrastructure roles.
- In-depth experience with Palo Alto technology.
- Expertise in Network Technologies: Cisco ACI, Nexus/Catalyst, AVI Load Balancer, Wiring.
- Proficiency in Micro-segmentation (ACI/NSX).
- Experience in Telecom and networking (preference for i3).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco UCS infrastructure.
- Knowledge in Storage Technologies: Pure, Cohesity.
- Experience with identity providers and federated identity services (Microsoft ADFS, SAML 2.0, Azure Authentication, and Conditional Access).
- Familiarity with scripting, automation, and orchestration technologies: PowerShell, Python, Puppet/Chef, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
- Understanding of patch and vulnerability management, as well as familiarity with change management and IT Service Management (ITSM).

- Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts and miscommunications effectively.
- Capacity to plan and coordinate lifecycle and capacity management.
Experience
- Minimum of 6-7 years' experience in infrastructure engineering roles with a focus on complex systems integration and support.
Environment
