Job Summary

We are seeking a Snowflake Developer with a strong background in data engineering and cloud applications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in utilizing Snowflake and Azure Data Factory to design and implement ETL operations, improve data pipeline efficiency, and support data scientists and analysts in generating effective data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and Design cloud applications using Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, primarily focusing on Snowflake and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Create and Maintain robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations leveraging Azure Data Factory or comparable technologies.
• Improve Scalability and Efficiency of data pipelines to enhance cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure Effective Design, Development, Validation, and Support activities aligned with client specifications and architectural requirements.
• Develop and Deploy efficient and reliable data pipelines in a collaborative environment.
• Monitor and Resolve data pipeline issues to ensure data consistency and availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of total IT experience with 5+ years of strong experience in Snowflake.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Synapse.
• Ability to design, validate, and support data pipelines based on client needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Azure Synapse is advantageous.
• Familiarity with other cloud technologies and data processing frameworks.

Experience

• 9+ years of experience in IT with a heavy emphasis on Snowflake and data engineering.

Environment

• Location options include Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, or Pune. The working environment can be office-based or potentially remote, depending on the company’s policies.

Salary

• Estimated salary for candidates with 9+ years of experience is 25 LPA (Lakhs per Annum).
