Power BI Dashboard Developer

Job Summary

The Power BI Dashboard Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and publishing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. This role ensures that business requirements are transformed into compelling visual insights and analytical solutions, contributing significantly to informed decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Design, build, and publish reports utilizing Power Query, DAX, Dataflows, and advanced visualizations.
• Implement data modeling strategies, including designing star and snowflake schemas, to optimize data relationships.
• Connect Power BI to relational databases, with a focus on MySQL (RDS), and support ETL processes in cloud environments like AWS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into effective, functional visual reports.
• Implement row-level security and optimize report performance for large datasets while ensuring adherence to data governance and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI dashboard development.
• Proficient in Power BI’s Power Query, DAX, Dataflows, and advanced visualization techniques.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and relationships (star/snowflake schema).
• Experience in connecting to relational databases, particularly MySQL (RDS), and familiarity with cloud-based ETL processes (AWS).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and ETL engineers to ensure reporting accuracy.
• A relevant Bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.Tech, BSc, or equivalent) is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Client TCG and Payroll TCG frameworks.
• Experience working with additional reporting tools or customization techniques to enhance dashboard functionality.

Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in developing dashboards using Power BI.
• Demonstrated experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and dashboard performance optimization.

• Location: Kolkata or Mumbai.
• Notice Period: Immediate joiners to 20 days.
• Collaborative work setting with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, with the possibility to work in-office as per organizational requirements.
