Role-Brand Manager- Sorrentina
Honestly Italian Private Limited aims to be the country’s first food platform that brings together digitalfirst brands, experiences and retail destinations that will influence and shape the narrative around
food amongst India’s most discerning consumers. The company is led by Ms Avni Biyani who had
earlier conceived and operated Foodhall, the country’s leading gourmet food retail chain and Ms.
Ashni Biyani, former Managing Director, Future Consumer Limited. Over a period of ten years, Avni
built a strong team of professionals who helped Foodhall emerge among the leading luxury businesses
in the country, while Ashni created Rs 3100+ crore fully integrated FMCG business with over 21 brands
across food and HPC.
Sorrentina, the company's first brand, was launched earlier this year. Best known for its namesake
restaurant in Mumbai, Sorrentina now offers a range of fresh and packaged food products and FMCG
range available through multiple digital platforms, marketplaces, its own D2C platform sorentina.in
and leading modern trade and gourmet stores in India. Built as a digital-first brand, Sorrentina is led
by a team with deep experience and expertise in gourmet food, digital content, and commerce. The
company’s second brand, Soul Chef will deliver innovative, healthy, and flavorful range of pantry
essentials and will be launched in the next financial year. A third brand offering a range of snacking
and munching options is under conceptualization.
Along with these brands, the company is also launching a chain of retail stores targeting young,
gourmet food lovers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore. Designed as an interactive space for food
connoisseurs that offer epicurean treats for cooking, eating and entertaining, these stores will be filled
with with better-made, new-to-market products and new-age brands. The store is being designed
from the lens of a smartphone user and orders placed on digital platforms will be fulfilled through a
same-day home delivery network. The stores will also be supported by a state-of-the-art commissary
that are being set up in the three cities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING?
Lead Brand marketing initiatives, campaigns, content calendar, social media, influencer
marketing to maximize reach
Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to highlight
opportunities and key issues
Responsible for 360 degree Marketing such as Digital Marketing, Social Media, Content,
Offline activation, Pop ups, GT/MT etc
Own and drive social media presence for the brand
Point of sale content for online platforms, offline platforms and events
Identify and execute events for Pop-ups and other brand promotion activities
Creation of marketing calendars and segmenting the budget across campaigns and channels
Initiating Community building to drive brand desire and consumer loyalty
Ensure brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts
Manage the development of selected integrated brand communication and develops
communication material for exploitation across a number of channels – Emailers, WhatsApp
etc.
Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market execution
plans
Analyzing and researching consumer markets, monitoring market trends and identifying
potential areas to expand, based upon consumer needs and spending habits
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM?
4-7 years of experience working for a D2C/ Food/ FMCG brand
Understanding of brand marketing and communication
Expertise in online and offline marketing
Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communications skills
Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi task
