JD – Brand Strategist / Marketing Associate (Full-Time)
Sailthru Ventures | Gurugram
As a Brand Strategist at Sailthru Ventures, you’ll work at the intersection of strategy,
creativity, and cultural insight to shape the next generation of high-growth consumer
brands. You’ll collaborate directly with Aman Gupta, founders, and leading creative partners
to build brands that stand out in India’s fast-evolving D2C ecosystem.
Your Role
● Lead brand strategy development: positioning, identity systems, tone of voice,
and narrative architecture
● Decode consumer behaviour, category dynamics, semiotic cues, and
whitespace opportunities
● Build insight-led communication frameworks that inform marketing, content,
and PR
● Partner with creative agencies to bring brand stories to life across campaigns,
digital touchpoints, and social media
● Drive social + PR narrative direction, ensuring coherence with the brand’s
cultural and strategic stance
● Work closely with founders to refine product–market fit, communication
strategy, and long-term brand playbooks
● Own strategy projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, highly
collaborative environment
Who You Are
● Up to 1-3 years of experience is creative marketing / branding
● Strong background in research, insight synthesis, and cultural decoding
● Deep understanding of India’s D2C landscape, consumer shifts, and
digital-first brand culture
● Ability to craft sharp brand narratives, creative briefs, messaging systems, and
storytelling frameworks
● Comfortable working in ambiguity, connecting disparate dots, and turning
hypotheses into strategy
● Exceptional communication and presentation skills
● A self-driven, high-ownership mindset
