Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager cum Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our Technology Team / vendors and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful implementation of our software product’s / features.

 

In this role, you will report to the CTO / Product Manager and collaborate with the business team & vendors to drive and deliver digital products.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • To coordinate closely with the Business Users and other users of Applications to understand the functional requirements.
  • End-to-End Project Life Cycle Managment
  • To create, document and maintain Functional Specs and work closely with the Vendor / Development and Testing team.
  • Create a project Plan
  • Creates and executes project plans across multiple projects and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Keeps key stakeholders well informed of the status of development effort, delivery timelines and serves as liaison between vendor / development staff and business across multiple projects.
  • To help the Vendor / development team deliver the end application by providing business and functional guidance to the developers and testers.
  • Support on Business Applications post Go-Live.
  • Defines, communicates, and enforces standards.
  • Manages project within budget and project schedule.
  • Consistently delivers high-quality services to business teams and end clients.

 

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager
  • MBA or bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or Engineering

 

MANDATORY SKILLS

  • Experience as a Business Analyst and Project Manager
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to explain business requirements easily and translate them into functional requirements.
  • Capability to understand and analyse complex IT application, Legacy Reports and financial product structures.
  • Be skilled at interpreting & explaining functional specifications in a manner that developers can understand
  • Experience with software development life cycle phases and activities.
  • Excellent documentation ability.
  • Have experience in preparing functional specifications, test scenarios and test specifications
  • Experience with UAT and Test Case validations.
  • Experience on creating reports on Business Intelligence tool will be a added advantage

 

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent Knowledge of Capital Market systems, Financial Products, and Financial Terminologies
  • Knowledge or Experience with the Capital Market back-office, middle-office, reporting and Front Office systems.
  • Knowledge of SQL and any database query tool.
