Gynoveda is on a mission to build India’s largest chain of “Ayurveda Fertility Clinics for Couples.” With over 50 clinics currently operational and a new one opening each week, the company aims to expand to 200 clinics, positioning itself as a national leader in reproductive healthcare.
Job Summary
As the Director of Operations at Gynoveda, you will play a vital role in managing daily company operations and synchronizing multiple functions at the headquarters with a growing network of clinics. This position is essential in supporting the company’s ambitious growth strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and driving effective systems integration.
Responsibilities

People Operations:
- Lead HR functions, including Talent Acquisition and Retention.
- Build a culture of performance management, focusing on growth and internal promotions.
- Strengthen Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for hiring, onboarding, learning & development, and succession planning.

Training, Quality & Compliance:
- Oversee New Hire Training and on-the-job training (OJT) to maintain high-quality onboarding processes.
- Conduct service quality audits to ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Manage the Command Centre for fraud detection and adherence to compliance measures.

Company Systems, Data, Tech + Product:
- Lead the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and oversee website development and tech initiatives.
- Ensure the technology stack supports scaling efforts and integrates seamlessly.
- Automate data management and reporting functions using ETL tools and Tableau.

Supply Chain & Infrastructure:
- Oversee new product development and launches.
- Lead inventory management, sourcing, and warehousing operations.
- Own infrastructure management, including IT, facilities, and administration across the headquarters and clinics.

Process & Policy:
- Define systems, policies, SOPs, and workflows for daily operations.
- Build scalable systems and playbooks to support hypergrowth.
- Develop a comprehensive “Founder’s Manual” that ensures continuity beyond the founding team.
Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or related field. An MBA is preferred.

Experience:
- 12–20 years of experience in Operations, Strategy, or Business Management.
- Prior roles as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, or similar positions.
- Experience scaling a retail chain, health tech, or direct-to-consumer (D2C) business (e.g., Lenskart, Clove Dental, Apollo Pharmacy).
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams of 50+ members.

Mandatory Skills:
- Systems thinking and process design.
- Data-led operations and multi-stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in HR, supply chain, and technology.
- Vigilance mindset towards SOPs, compliance, and fraud detection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- ERP implementation experience is a bonus.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with analytics tools and experience in data visualization software.
- Experience in the healthcare industry or high-growth startups.
Experience
- Minimum of 12 years in relevant operational roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position within a multi-location business setup.
Environment
The role is based in Malad, Mumbai, with potential requirements to oversee operations across multiple clinic locations. Candidates should be adaptable to a dynamic startup environment.
