Job Summary
The HR Manager – HR Operations will oversee Anveshan's HR operations end-to-end, focusing on building efficient, scalable processes across the entire employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance. This hands-on, process-driven role involves ownership of onboarding, HR Management System (HRMS) and payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and enhancing the day-to-day employee experience.
Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Management:
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
- Ensure seamless onboarding, induction, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities.
- Maintain employee records and documentation with complete accuracy.
- Prepare HR letters including offer, appointment, confirmation, promotion, and experience letters.

HR Operations & Administration:
- Own attendance, leave management, and HRMS data accuracy.
- Share monthly payroll inputs with the payroll team and ensure timely processing.
- Keep employee databases, organizational structure, and HR dashboards up to date.
- Handle employee inquiries on HR policies, attendance, leave, and payroll.
- Lead HR process improvement and automation initiatives.

Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate statutory processes such as PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and Bonus.
- Keep HR documentation, audit records, and compliance trackers audit-ready.
- Assist in internal and external HR audits.

Employee Experience & Engagement:
- Plan and execute engagement activities, wellness initiatives, and recognition programs.
- Coordinate employee surveys, feedback initiatives, and action planning.
- Own onboarding and probation review processes to enhance the early experience.
- Support grievance handling and employee relations.

Performance & HR Programs:
- Coordinate performance appraisals and probation reviews.
- Enable goal-setting, performance documentation, and review processes.
- Assist in implementing learning and development initiatives.
- Monitor HR KPIs and prepare monthly people analytics reports.

Reporting & Analytics:
- Prepare HR dashboards and Management Information System (MIS) reports.
- Track attendance, attrition, retention, leave trends, and engagement.
- Convert data insights into actionable improvements for HR processes and employee experience.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–8 years in HR Operations or HR Generalist roles.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
- Industry Experience: Preferred experience in startups, Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Manufacturing, or Consumer businesses.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with HR Management Systems (HRMS), payroll coordination, and HR operations.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Mindset: A process-builder's mindset with exceptional attention to detail, ownership attitude, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data analytics tools or software for monitoring HR KPIs.
- Familiarity with employee engagement and performance management software.
- Previous experience in a high-growth startup environment.
Experience
- A minimum of 5–8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within operations in a fast-paced environment.
