HR Executive - Recruitment

Job Summary

The HR Executive - Recruitment will play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end recruitment and workforce management for both white-collar and blue-collar roles. This position supports onboarding, HR operations, employee relations, compliance, performance management, training coordination, and employee engagement activities. The role contributes to the organization’s goals by ensuring smooth HR processes, maintaining accurate records, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Workforce Management: Support and manage recruitment processes including coordinating interviews, reference checks, and final selections; liaise with manpower suppliers and recruitment agencies.
  • Onboarding & Induction: Facilitate pre-joining formalities, documentation, orientation sessions, and coordinate with admin/IT for new systems, ID cards, and accommodation.
  • HR Operations & Documentation: Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documents; update HRIS/ERP systems with employee data, leaves, transfers, and organizational structure; manage physical and digital HR filing systems.
  • HR Reports & Analytics: Prepare and maintain HR reports such as attrition, headcount, absenteeism, manpower status, and hiring dashboards; analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements; present HR metrics to HR Manager.
  • Employee Relations & Grievance Handling: Act as first point of contact for employee grievances; support employee communication, engagement, and welfare initiatives; conduct regular interactions with blue-collar staff to address workplace issues.
  • Industrial Relations & Compliance: Maintain relationships with site supervisors, labor contractors, and external bodies; support union interactions and shop-floor communication; monitor labor discipline, absenteeism, and attendance.
  • Performance Management Support: Assist in performance appraisal processes including review coordination, form collection, and system updates; ensure timelines and record accuracy.
  • Training & Development Coordination: Maintain annual training calendars; organize team-building programs, soft skills training, and technical workshops; track training attendance and learning effectiveness.
  • Employee Engagement & Team Building: Plan and organize engagement activities such as events and recognition programs; conduct employee perception surveys and feedback sessions.
  • Payroll Support & Attendance: Validate attendance records and leave summaries; coordinate with payroll for monthly salary processing; manage documentation for overtime, loss of pay, and variable components; resolve salary and benefit queries.
  • Exit Formalities & Documentation: Conduct exit interviews; manage clearance documentation and coordinate full-and-final settlements; maintain attrition and exit feedback records for analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • In-depth understanding of HR policies, employee lifecycle, and HR operations.
  • Familiarity with full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Proficient in HR analytics and reporting using Excel or HRMS/ERP systems.
  • Basic knowledge of payroll processes, attendance validation, and leave tracking.
  • Understanding of training needs analysis, planning, and evaluation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and handle grievances.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain accurate HR documentation and reports.
  • Effective multitasking and time management capabilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with HRIS/ERP platforms for employee data management.
  • Knowledge of employee engagement best practices and survey methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze HR data to recommend process improvements.
  • Familiarity with industrial relations and labor law compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse workforce levels.

Experience

  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in HR recruitment and operations.
  • Experience handling both white-collar and blue-collar workforce recruitment preferred.
  • Exposure to employee relations, grievance handling, and industrial relations is advantageous.

Environment

  • Full-time, in-office position based in Bangalore.
  • Work involves interaction with employees at all organizational levels including shop-floor staff.
  • Requires coordination with multiple departments such as admin, IT, finance, and external agencies.
  • Typical office environment with occasional site visits for employee engagement and compliance monitoring.

Salary
