Job Summary

The Regional Manager – Distribution is critical for driving the distribution engine in designated regions. This role requires the individual to take ownership of traditional business areas such as sourcing, partnerships, and disbursements. The Regional Manager will build and scale a network of intermediaries while ensuring that the on-ground team consistently achieves business targets.

Responsibilities

  • Business Ownership:

    • Own P&L and business targets for the assigned region.
    • Drive loan sourcing, conversions, and disbursements.
    • Deliver on key metrics, including leads, Assets Under Management (AUM), and revenue.
  • Distribution Building:

    • Build and activate a network of Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs), Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), local brokers, and channel partners.
    • Drive onboarding processes and productivity for partners.
  • Team Management:

    • Lead and manage a team of Feet-on-Street (FOS) executives.
    • Ensure strong pipeline generation through effective daily execution.
    • Monitor team productivity and performance for continuous improvement.
  • Execution Excellence:

    • Ensure high conversion rates through proactive partner engagement.
    • Address and solve on-ground challenges independently.
    • Collaborate with central teams to streamline processes.

Qualifications

  • 4-10 years of experience in NBFC, lending, or wealth distribution.
  • Strong local network with MFDs, IFAs, and brokers.
  • Proven track record of achieving and driving business targets.
  • Experience managing on-ground sales teams.
  • High ownership and accountability for numbers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, build-from-scratch environment.
  • Strong bias towards execution (doer more than planner).
  • Capability to operate effectively amidst ambiguity.

Preferred Skills

  • Existing relationships with partners in the financial services sector.
  • Analytical skills that drive decision-making and performance improvements.

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years and up to 10 years in relevant fields such as NBFCs, lending, or distribution networks.

Environment

  • The role will require regular travel to various locations including Bhopal, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi NCR, engaging with local partners and teams.
