Fashion Designer Intern

Job Summary

We are looking for creative and enthusiastic Fashion Designer Interns to join our team in Delhi. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry, working on real-world projects alongside experienced designers. The ideal candidate will support the design process, contribute fresh ideas, and help bring our vision to life through innovative fashion concepts and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in conceptualizing and developing seasonal collections.
• Create sketches, mood boards, and digital illustrations for design proposals.
• Source and research fabrics, trims, and materials for ongoing projects.
• Participate in fittings, sample making, and garment construction.
• Support the preparation and execution of fashion shows, photoshoots, or exhibitions.
• Maintain and organize design archives, materials, and sample inventory.
• Stay updated on current fashion trends and contribute creative input to design meetings.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and fabric types.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.
• Strong sketching and visualization skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hand or machine sewing techniques.
• Understanding of fashion trend forecasting.
• Familiarity with fashion merchandising or marketing concepts.
• Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices.
• Photography and basic photo-editing skills.

Experience

• Minimum Experience: 0 years (Freshers welcome)
• Prior internship or project experience in fashion design is a plus but not mandatory.

Environment

• Work Setting: On-site, Delhi
• Collaborative studio environment with opportunities for hands-on learning and mentorship.
• May require occasional work during evenings or weekends for shows or deadlines.

Salary

• ₹5,000 - ₹10,000 per month (Internship stipend)
