Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Specify, develop, and debug mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with the back-end development team and UX design team to implement mobile product requirements.
• Create reusable libraries and mobile application frameworks, while evaluating and researching the latest technologies.
• Advise management on the pros and cons of implementing specific mobile platforms.
• Play a significant role in the direction and strategy of our mobile products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mobile App development.
• Deep familiarity with Android Application Development using Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android Debugger.
• Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills (OOA/OOD).
• Experience working in an Agile methodology.
• Strong understanding of user experience and usability aspects.
• Proficient in Kotlin fundamentals and Coroutines.
• Knowledge of programming practices such as clean code and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with Android architectures, testing, and Jetpack libraries.
• Knowledge of unit testing for Kotlin.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in mobile application development, specifically in Android.
