Java Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in support and maintenance, with expertise in Java, J2EE, and several modern development platforms and tools. This role is integral to the development and maintenance of our software solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java and J2EE.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Work with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Openshift Container Platform.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in support and maintenance roles.
- Proficient in Java, J2EE, Springboot, and Angular 13.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Openshift Container Platform.
- Familiarity with Gradle, PostGRES, and Tekton.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced knowledge in cloud computing and containerization.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience
- 5 to 9 years of relevant experience in software development and support.
