Job Summary

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend solutions using Java and related technologies. You will contribute to building scalable microservices architectures while ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend components and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Develop and manage databases utilizing SQL and PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in the CI/CD pipeline to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.
• Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficient in Java and familiar with frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA, SQL, and databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based solutions.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns.

Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in backend software development.

Environment

• The position is a hybrid work model, requiring attendance in the office 2-3 days a week. Locations include Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon, and Hyderabad.
