About the role
Born Good is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Area Sales Manager to lead our
outdoor sales and distribution efforts in India. This role is responsible for driving sales, increasing
distribution reach, engaging channel partners, driving marketing execution, infrastructure
planning & execution and to gain market share.
Key Responsibilities
1. Territory Management:
a. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targetsand capture market growth with a clear focus on profitability.
b. Lead business planning and forecasting for the assigned area
2. Channel Development:
a. Build and maintain strong relationships with outdoor retailers, distributors, and dealers.
Expand the company's presence in the outdoor retail sector through the identification
and onboarding of new business partners.
3. Team Leadership:
a. Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team focused on outdoor
distribution. Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure the team meets or
exceeds sales objectives.
b. Engage and motivate the field force with an objective to achieve ambitious business
plans, maximize incentive earning in the team and reward & recognize right behaviours.
4. Sales Planning and Execution:
a. Develop and execute sales plans, promotions, and product launches in collaboration
with the marketing team. Monitor and analyse sales performance, making adjustments
as needed to achieve targets.
b. Collaborate with internal stakeholders like supply chain, logistics to ensure quality
market services.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
a. Foster strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high
levels of customer satisfaction. Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and
effectively.

efficient resource utilization.

Skills we are looking for:
• Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or in a similar role, preferably in an FMCG
setup.
• Experience in GT & MT sales with 5-6 years of relevant work experience in reputed FMCG
organizations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of the outdoor retail market in India.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or in a similar role, preferably in an FMCG
setup.
