MERN Stack Developer (5+ Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MERN Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js stack. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and optimizing application performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Build RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend components.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and bug fixing.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
• Integrate third-party APIs and cloud services like AWS and Firebase.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the MERN stack.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Experience with React.js frameworks/libraries like Redux and Context API.
• Proficient in backend development using Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience with MongoDB, Mongoose, and schema design.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JWT authentication, and API security.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker (preferred).
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, or Next.js.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest and Mocha.
• Experience deploying apps using Docker/Nginx or platforms like Heroku/Vercel.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.

Experience

5+ years of relevant experience in developing web applications using the MERN stack.
