Job Summary:   Role will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, scalability, and excellence in our technology infrastructure. You will lead and mentor a team of in-house and vendor developers, ensuring the successful execution of projects that support our web platform, customer engagement tools, and backend systems.   Key Responsibilities:   Team Leadership: <ul> <li>Build and lead a talented engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.</li> <li>Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Effectively manage both in-house and vendor developers, ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met.</li> </ul>   Technology Strategy:   <ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement the technology roadmap aligned with business goals.</li> <li>Evaluate, recommend, and implement the latest technologies and best practices to improve system performance, scalability, and security.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ensure seamless integration and optimization of Webengage, Shopify Plus, AWS Server, and PHP-based middleware.</li> </ul>   Project Management:   <ul> <li>Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.</li> <li>Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.</li> </ul>   System Reliability and Performance:   <ul> <li>Maintain the AWS server infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.</li> <li>Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system outages.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to safeguard data.</li> </ul>   Vendor Management:   <ul> <li>Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure the successful integration and operation of external services and tools.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Negotiate contracts, monitor service-level agreements (SLAs), and manage vendor relationships effectively.</li> </ul>   Qualifications:   <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.</li> <li>Proven experience in managing engineering teams in a technology-driven environment.</li> <li>Strong technical background with expertise in web technologies, AWS, PHP, and e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus preferred).</li> <li>Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects concurrently.</li> <li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Experience with customer engagement and marketing tools (e.g., Webengage) is a plus.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Proven ability to make data-driven decisions and drive process improvements.</li> </ul>   If you are a highly motivated and experienced engineering leader looking for an exciting opportunity to shape the technology landscape of a fast-growing D2C company, we invite you to apply for the position at The Sleep Company.
