Technical Lead
Job Summary
The Technical Lead will be responsible for ensuring the high-level performance of the technical team by leveraging their in-depth technical knowledge. This role includes leading projects, contributing to cross-functional initiatives, and promoting continuous improvement along with code quality standards to support the organization’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor technical team members, training Specialists/Senior Specialists and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Produce high-quality code efficiently and participate in all stages of the product development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, feasibility studies, and project planning.
- Diagnose, analyze, and recommend solutions for complex software defects, ensuring effective troubleshooting with a high level of engagement.
- Implement best practices in code quality, security, and non-functional requirements through rigorous code reviews, unit testing, and code refactoring.
- Promote continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to processes, managing technical debt, and contributing to project delivery improvements.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across cross-functional technical teams and ensure smooth communication to create successful project engagement.
Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in software development related to UI, networking, and system design.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, problem-solving skills, and effective communication.
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with mentoring and coaching junior team members in a technical capacity.
- Experience in producing quality documentation, such as technical requirements and project plans.
- Familiarity with industry best practices related to software engineering, security, and development methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Involvement in developer advocacy, including participation in hackathons, recruitment events, and conferences.
- Experience with open-source contributions or community engagement activities.
- Training delivery experience is a plus.
