QA Playwright
Job Summary
The QA Playwright position is designed for experienced Quality Assurance professionals who specialize in automated testing frameworks. The candidate will ensure the quality and reliability of software through thorough testing processes, using the Playwright framework to develop and execute automated test cases.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright to validate software functionalities.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create test scenarios.
- Identify, record, and track bugs; ensure issues are reported and resolved efficiently.
- Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure stability of existing features.
- Participate in test planning and strategy sessions to define overall testing activities and goals.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically with automated testing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with the Playwright testing framework.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, Agile processes, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Experience with test case management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies.
Experience
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in QA testing, particularly with automated frameworks and scripting.
