Job Summary

The Banking Process Management Engineer L3 is responsible for providing Level 3 support for banking process transaction applications, ensuring the smooth operation of payment and fraud applications. This role is critical in addressing production support issues and enhancing the efficiency of transaction processing to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 3 support for banking process transaction applications, including ATM, POS, and RB payment hub applications.
  • Monitor and resolve production support issues for transactions using industry-standard tools.
  • Address customer queries and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Work with the ServiceNow ticketing tool to manage and resolve support tickets.
  • Check logs on UNIX servers to diagnose and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Analyze database queries related to application performance and functionality.
  • Utilize Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting application performance.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure effective use of OCP (OpenShift Container Platform) PODs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in banking process management or systems engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of banking processes, particularly related to payment hub applications and fraud detection.
  • Proficiency in UNIX server log analysis and database queries.
  • Working knowledge of monitoring tools, specifically Splunk.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on a 24 x 7 roster and handle rotational shifts.
  • Preferably based in Bangalore, with physical presence at Cyberpark most days.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Splunk Admin capabilities is a plus.
  • Familiarity with fraud applications such as PMS and FMC.

Experience

6-8 years of relevant experience in supporting banking applications and systems.

Environment

  • The role is primarily based in Bangalore (Cyber Park) with a preference for in-office work, particularly from the ECity location.
  • This role may require working in rotating shifts to provide 24/7 support coverage.
