Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in automation testing and hands-on expertise in Selenium + C#. With over 5 years of overall automation testing experience (minimum 4 years in Selenium + C#), this role is ideal for a proactive and self-motivated professional who can design, develop, and implement robust testing frameworks. The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and must be ready for immediate joining (notice period: immediate to 15 days). The role directly contributes to delivering high-quality software through effective automated test strategies and seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive automated test frameworks and scripts using Selenium + C#.
• Generate quick automation solutions and conduct proofs of concept (POCs) to address urgent technical challenges.
• Adapt and integrate with existing testing frameworks, while providing constructive suggestions for process improvements.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and manual testers to understand requirements and create effective testing strategies and test plans.
• Mentor junior testers by offering guidance on best practices in automation testing and participating in code reviews.
• Work in tandem with the CI/CD team to integrate automated tests into the deployment pipeline, ensuring robust and reliable test cycles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of automation testing experience with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Selenium + C#.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and C# and familiarity with frameworks like NUnit and Page Object Model (POM).
• Strong understanding of automation testing concepts, industry guidelines, and best practices.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., ADO, ALM) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Proven ability to integrate automation tools with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Demonstrated traits of adaptability, proactiveness, accountability, and strong self-motivation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise-level solutioning and integrating various automation tools for end-to-end automation deliverables.
• Familiarity with additional automation tools such as UFT and cross-tool skills.
• Hands-on experience with generating detailed test reports using extent reporting frameworks.
• Ability to quickly understand complex systems and generate scalable automation frameworks.

Experience

• Over 5 years of experience in automation testing.
• A minimum of 4 years of extensive hands-on experience with Selenium + C#.
• Prior experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
